This means that residents need to travel a certain distance to the laundry room with their laundry products as well as their laundry. Many people try to reduce the load by buying smaller containers for their detergent, softener, powder, etc. However, currently these products are most commonly stored in separate containers, which works storage wise but becomes uncomfortable during movement due to having multiple things to carry, their weight when full and badly designed handles or other features to assist carrying. The struggle of this experience which happens (8-10) a week according to my questionnaire, suggests a need for a solution. The solution should be a container which allows storage for all laundry products while not being too heavy and inconvenient to carry. It should still optimize the pouring of the interior product as well as allow the measuring of this to reduce waste.
